Configure a shop for widget integrations in the Stager backstage

Updated this week

Before integrating a Stager shop widget, some configuration in the Stager Backstage is required.

First go to the Settings -> Ticketing -> Ticket shops page of the Stager backstage. On that page follow these steps:

  1. Open the page of the shop you wish to integrate.

  2. Make sure the Shop version is set to “new shop” (this is only visible to organizers that have started using Stager before November 2024; otherwise all your ticket shops are automatically set to “new shop”).

  3. Scroll to the section at the bottom of the page labeled Widget integrations.

  4. Toggle the switch to Enabled.

  5. Enter the Return URL and save the changes.

Once you have this set up you can start integrating one or more widgets into your website. You can find technical instructions for this here:

Note that you need to run an instance of the widget on the Return URL so the order can be completed correctly and the ticket buyer can download their tickets from there.

If you do not know the Return URL, it is okay to just make something up at first (as long as the domain name correctly points to your website's domain). But once you start selling ticket from your website you do want to ensure the Return URL is correct.
