There are several ways to integrate your shop into your own website. These range from a basic option, where you simply redirect visitors to the shop, to an advanced option, where the shopping experience is fully embedded within your website.
In this article we start with the straight forward option to link the ticket shop under a button or link. In another article you can read about embedding the ticket shop on your own website.
Link to the ticket shop
Create one 'Buy tickets' button on your own website. Link this button to the Stager ticket shop. Visitors see multiple events and buy the tickets for the ones they want to attend.
This ticket shop link is found in the settings. Go to Settings - Ticketing - Ticket shops. Here you'll see an overview of the ticket shops and a link for each shop.
The link looks like this: https://<subdomain>.stager.co/shop/<name of the shop>
where <subdomain>
is replaced by an actual subdomain of your organization and <name of the shop>
by the name of the shop.
This is the simplest way of integrating Stager into your website: by just placing a shop link. Your ticket buyers are then directed from your website to your Stager ticket shop to purchase tickets.
Link to a specific event in the shop
Instead of just one ticket button linking to a full ticket shop, you add a specific link to each event. Every event has its own button that links to only that event in the Stager ticket shop. This gives your visitor a better user experience and it allows you to measure more online marketing data. You can automate adding these links with the Stager feed.
The single event link is found on 'Tickets' tab of each event. Click on the yellow 'Get ticket links' button in the top right corner to copy the single event link.
Instead of manually adding these links, you can automate publishing ticket links (and much more) to your website using the Stager feed. This feed sends updates with event info, publicity info and ticket info. So date/time/locations/etc., a description of the artist with video links and images, and the price/fee/name/number/etc. of tickets.
The feed allows to automatically create a post on your website with the description of the artist and ticket link.
For an even better user experience and enhanced integration with online marketing tools, we offer so-called “widget” integrations.
