Released 14-05-2019
Spring fever hit the office and temperatures are rising! Next to new colleagues we added new features. You can now add guests en masse to the Stager backstage and in the Stager app, drop a file directly on your Timeline and download it again in the Stager app.
TL;DR (Too long; Didn’t read)
Add guests (with or without mail address) in bulk by uploading a CSV-file.
After importing a list you can choose to mail your guests a ticket directly, send them an invitation or add them to the guest list.
Copy/paste guest list requests in our app. Stager extracts your friends names & +1’s.
Link documents to activities in the timeline and check them in the Stager app.
The Guest List Importer
Sometimes you want to invite a lot of people (the more the merrier), but you surely don’t want to put them on the guest list one by one. We’ve created an importer to speed up the process.
Import a list of guests including name, surname, email address (if you want to send them an e-mail) and amount of tickets for this person. The import is done via a CSV-file.
After importing the list, you have three possible ways to invite your guests and their entourage.
Put them on the guestlist: The guest mentions his/her name and you check them in. No e-mail address is required.
Send an invite: Guests have to claim their ticket before a certain expiry date. After accepting the invitation, they receive a mail with ticket.
Send tickets directly: Send the guests a mail with a ticket download link - they are guaranteed to enter your event.
Add multiple guests in the Stager App
Let’s say it’s a friday night. You’ve worked all week and tonight you’re chilling on your couch. Suddenly wild party friends send you texts - THEY WANT TO PARTY - and ask for some spots on the guest list of the club that you work at. Sure, you don’t mind, they’re lovely people, but it’s such a hassle to add all those names. Well, not anymore!
Just copy and paste their list via Whatsapp into the Stager app. We read what your friends meant and translate it to a perfect bite-sized list. You can change how many spots every guests should have and add them in one go.
Easy does it.
Add files to activities in the Timeline
So you’ve been working with the new production planboard called Timeline for some time. In order to replace the production sheets, we’ve made it possible to add files to activities on the timeline. You can choose documents that are already uploaded in the Production tab of that event.
For example, link a technical rider to an activity in the backstage and open this activity on your phone. A little document icon will appear when an activity has an attachment. Open and download the technical rider on your phone.
Improvements & Bugs
There was a lot of work done “under the hood” to optimize performance and improve security, but a few smaller improvements were done and bugs killed.
Improvements
Tickets are reserved for a shorter period of time. This means that they become available faster.
HTML markdown is supported in the new feed.
We have added a time field to the publication date under Publicity to publish right on the time you want.
There is now an overview showing the amount of issued guest spots in Tickets - Guests.
The affiliate sales info page is made responsive and now also looks beautiful on your phone.
Choose which subscription you want to scan if you are scanning a subscription barcode with the Stager app.Big change for everyone who uses membership passes: if subscription tickets are bought or claimed via the ticketshop, then these tickets should be used for admission. It is not possible to enter with a barcode on a pass if a ticket has already been claimed.
Bug fixes
Start time of defaults shift does not change anymore when changing to a different plan mode.
Not all activities were shown on the Timeline in the app. Now the Timeline shows all activities if you have selected the option to see all activities ;)
The timesheet doesn't skip a page anymore. It looks good when printing with or without notes.
The order of ticket types in the dropdown menu of Guests now has the same order as in Admin - Ticket Types.
