Stager is working towards a complete new crew planner! We have been working for a long time on this feature and will be releasing it in parts. The first big part involves moving all your crew to the Stager app. In the Stager app, they can view, claim and request shifts.
Changing the process for your entire team may seem daunting, so we've collected a lot of resources here in this 'Communication kit' to make things easier for you. Here we've compiled helpful information for you as an organisation, links to an article and video explainer on how to use the Stager app to manage shifts, as well as inspiration text for your communication to your crew.
1. What you need to know about the changes
From week 47 (17 - 21 November), we will change the way that shifts are managed by your crew. Previously, your crew managed their shifts via a web browser, but this will now change to the Stager app.
Your crew will have until 1 January 2026 to start using the Stager app. Before then, they can still use the old method of managing shifts, but from 1 January onwards, they must only use the app.
Other than that, there are no changes to the way you as a team planner will organise your team at the moment. It is only important that your team switches to the Stager app.
2. What your crew needs to know
