Managing your shifts
Your team planner will make shifts available for you to claim, or request. You can find all available shifts in Shifts - Open shifts.
Claiming a shift means you directly allocate yourself to a certain shift, and no one else can take this shift.
Requesting a shift means you indicate your preference for a certain shift. Multiple people can request the same shift, and it’s then up to your team planner to allocate people to these shifts.
How to claim a shift
Navigate to Shifts - Open shifts, where you can see a complete list of upcoming shifts, sorted per event, with each event name shown. Shifts are always marked automatically as unavailable, and you need to market them available to claim them.
If a shift has a lock symbol next to it, then it can be directly claimed.
To claim the shifts that you want, first indicate you’re available, then either tap the lock button and confirm your choice, or tap on the event itself to read its details, and then claim the shift.
How to request a shift
Navigate to Shifts - Open shifts to see all upcoming shifts available. Shifts are able to be requested if they have a heart symbol next to them.
To request a certain shift, first indicate you’re available for the shift, then either tap on the heart symbol, or you can tap on the event itself, read its details, and then request the shift from there. This then sends your request to your team planner, and they can choose to allocate the shift to you.
How to see your shifts
You can see an overview of all the shifts allocated to you in Shifts - My shifts. If you tap on a shift, you can read further details on the event, the location it is taking place in, and the team you’re working with.
