Publish to external marketing platforms

Third party channels.

Updated over a year ago

Stager offers the possibility to publish event information through various channels. This goes through a feed. In Event - Publicity you indicate which information may be published where.

There are two publishing options:

  • My channels. Custom publishing channels controlled by you through the settings.

  • Partner channels. Stager offers a number of options for publishing to (Netherlands-based) third parties, such as Event connectors and Podiuminfo.nl and Timesquare. Stager manages these links.

Stager connects with a number of important marketing platforms in the Netherlands. You can find this at Publicity. From Stager you directly share event and ticketing information with these platforms. Sensitive ticketing information such as when ticket sales go online and offline or how many tickets have already been sold is not shared. However, it is possible to see ticket prices and where visitors can buy this ticket.

Each platform has its own rules and filters for recording event information. Ticking the checkbox in Stager does not guarantee publication on the platform and Stager has no influence on which events are or are not shown on a third party platform. This is decided by the publishing party.

  • Event Connectors: Ticking this checkbox will send the event data to Event Connectors. This is an agency for digital and data solutions for the cultural and tourism sector. Via the tool The Feed Factory, events entered in Stager are linked to various events. This way your event is automatically brought to the attention of a large audience.

  • Podiuminfo / Festivalinfo: Festivalinfo/Podiuminfo are the largest live music websites in the Netherlands and Belgium. Every month, more than 400,000 unique visitors check these sites to keep up to date with all live music in the Netherlands and Belgium. Festivalinfo/Podiuminfo agenda items are also published on NOS Teletekst, Oor.nl, among others.

  • TimeSquare: TimeSquare is the app store for apps from festivals, venues and theatres. Stager has a connection with TimeSquare for venues. As an organizer you create your own app within their platform where you publish all events and keep in touch with your audience. Via the link with Stager you automatically publish all event info to the app.
