No, crew members cannot unschedule themselves once a shift has been assigned.
A shift becomes confirmed as soon as the crew member clicks “I TAKE” on the Take a Shift page, or when the planner assigns the shift manually.
If a crew member tries to update their availability on a day they’re already scheduled, they’ll see the message:
“You are already assigned for one or more shifts outside your availability. Please contact the personnel planner to resolve your availability.”
To be removed from a shift, the crew member must contact their team planner. This ensures the planner stays informed and can manage the schedule accordingly.
