Locations & Spaces

How to set up the location(s) where your event(s) will take place.

Navigate to Settings - Events - Locations to create a location for your event. This is also the place to indicate what sort of facilities and spaces this location has.


How do you set up your location and spaces?

You find the locations in the Main tab of your event. The name of the venue and the address details are shown on the tickets to indicate the location of the event.

In the settings you also enter the coordinates (the latitude and longitude) of your location. These are added to the online tickets if they are stored in a digital wallet. The visitor can get a pop-up on the phone as soon as they are near the location when visiting an event.


The location is also used by Spotify to locate your event and show it to relevant people.


Spaces

Under Spaces, you can add the stages or rooms your venue has. You specify the maximum number of visitors for each room - the Capacity. The Capacity you enter here serves more as a reminder than as a limit. You indicate the actual capacity with the number of tickets to be sold.

Spaces can also be selected in the Main tab of your event. The Spaces checked there are visible in the various calendars. You can now see at a glance which activities are scheduled, and in which room.

Do you want the Space to be included on your ticket? You can set this at Settings - Ticketing - Design.
