Integrate Spotify with Stager

How do use the Spotify Integration

Updated today

What can you do?

Spotify and Stagers’ integration allows you to link a program item directly to a Spotify artist page. Currently, when you do just that, the Spotify artist link is added to the links section on the publicity tab and pushed to the feed.

Later, in the second phase, you can also sell tickets for your event through the Spotify artist event page.

This release is rolling out in two phases. The first phase, which is explained in this article, is already live. The second phase publishes your ticket link on the Spotify artist page, allowing you to capture the moment and seduce enthusiastic listeners to buy a ticket for your event.. Spotify is still working on this part of the integration, this will be released soon!

How to publish the Spotify artist link to your feed?

When you navigate to a program item for an event, you can link the Spotify artist page to it.

Here’s how:

  1. Go to a program item or create a new one

  2. Click on the Link Spotify Artist button

  3. Select the correct artist from the search results

  4. Save the page to apply the changes

Once saved, a Spotify logo will appear next to the selected artist's name. By clicking the logo, you can view the artist's profile and verify that the correct artist is linked to the program item.

If multiple artists are performing at the event, you can add more artists. Additionally, you can specify whether an artist is a headliner or a supporting act.

The linked artists are now visible in the publicity tab of the event. The Spotify artist link is now added to your Publicity tab and included in your feed.

What else can you prepare?

The second phase focuses on publishing your ticket link directly on Spotify. This integration means that when listeners browse their favorite artists on Spotify, they’ll find upcoming events in the On Tour section. This will then include a link to your ticket shop, promoting your events to potential attendees.

To prepare for this, you’ll need to ensure your location and event details are complete. You can already do this.

Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Go to Settings > Planning > Locations and ensure the following details are filled in for each venue:

    • Street name and number

    • Postal code

    • City

    • State / province / region

    • Country

    • Latitude and longitude

  2. Check the event type

    • Under the Spotify event category, choose either Concert or Festival.

    • Other event types, like workshops or film screenings, won’t be accepted by Spotify.

Stay tuned!

Once Spotify completes the next steps, you’ll be able to publish your events directly to Spotify, where listeners can discover your concerts and buy tickets with ease.
