Customer interests

Create interests and genres to classify your ticket buyers.

Updated over a week ago

You categorize an event thematically by using Customer interests. By linking a Customer interest to an event, the ticket buyer automatically receives a check mark in their contact record showing this Customer interest. Based on Customer interest, you can easily build target groups for marketing purposes. From now on you no longer have to select a series of events, but only the right interest if you are going to send a newsletter.

Genres such as Dance, Rock, Cabaret, Film, and Poetry are often used, but you can also choose to align the Customer interests with the Event Labels or, for example, create 'special promotions'. It just depends on how you want to subdivide your activities and in what manner you want to approach your audience.

Interests

Customer Interests are reflected in Marketing - Contacts and in Events - Publicity. You create them via Settings - Marketing - Customer Interests.

Audience interests are captured in three ways:

  • As an organizer, you tick the interests of a person per contact.

  • The visitor indicates what they are interested in via their Visitor Account.

  • The visitor buys a ticket for an event that is given a certain customer interest in the Publicity tab, and this interest is automatically added to the visitor's profile.

Using Marketing - Contacts - Audiences you can find your target audience by ticking certain customer interests and emailing the target group.

Roy likes Latin. He bought a ticket for a Latin club night, which had been given the Customer interest 'Latin' in Stager at Publicity. And Roy also checked 'Latin' in his relationship database record, under Customer interests. A month later, the Lovely Latin Festival takes place. Via Marketing - Contacts - Audiences you search for all relations who love Latin and immediately send Roy, and others, an email via Stager with an announcement of the Lovely Latin Festival.

Feeds

Customer interests are also included in the feed and can therefore be used for publicity. These customer interests can also be displayed on your own website (when Stager is linked to it), and it is thus possible for the public to search for a concert by genre or interest.
