How to personalize your ticket in Stager.

It may be that you need to personalize your ticket before you can download it in Stager. This process is simple and straight-foward, and this article will take you step-by-step through the process.

Step 1: Enter the ticket shop

Directly after purchase, a confirmation screen in the ticket shop will notify you (the ticket-buyer) that your tickets require personalization. You will also receive an email notification with the same message.

Step 2: Assign and/or claim a ticket

In the ticket shop, you will be able to personalize your tickets. No tickets can be downloaded until they have been personalized. You can then assign each ticket to a friend, and/or claim a ticket for yourself.

Step 3: Send the ticket to your friend for them to claim

Adding the email address of a friend assigns the ticket to that email address. The recipient receives an email notification for them to claim their ticket. The recipient then adds their details and claims the ticket for themselves.

Step 4: Download your ticket

Once you claim a ticket, you can usually download it right away. However, some tickets are set up as delayed tickets.

A delayed ticket means the organizer chose to release the tickets closer to the event date. Your spot is completely secured. The download link just will not be active until a specific time. Organizers use this method to keep ticket sales fair and prevent unauthorized reselling.

If your plans change, you can retract the ticket personalization. You can re-assign the ticket to a different person directly through the ticket shop. The new assignee just needs to personalize the ticket again to claim it.
